About Broken Candy
Broken Candy Confections is a new provider of custom candies, cookies, and other sweets in the Chicago area. Broken Candy is active under Illinois Cottage Law. As I get things going you'll see a bunch of photos and options for custom orders, and announcements about when and where I will be appearing at vendor fairs. I started baking as a child and has always considered it to be among my super powers. I love to make people happy and to receive compliments! A few years back, in a effort to feel like I had greater control over my life, I began making candies and cookies to distribute to friends and family at the holidays. You know how this goes: after hearing "you should go into business" enough times I decided, why not. My company is called Broken Candy for two reasons: 1) Most of the sweets are literally broken candy such as brittles, barks, and toffee.
